Since March of 2020, my life has revolved around helping businesses understand the impact of COVID-19 and how various government programs could help them survive. After hundreds of client consultations, hundreds of millions of dollars in tax credits, and countless conversations with business owners, C-Suite executives, managers, and front-line workers, I came to appreciate that the business impact that COVID-19 has had on each of these companies is unique. From our smallest client of just a few employees, to the largest employing more than 60,000, a cookie cutter approach to address the problem wasn't going to work. A "one size fits one" approach to recovery was going to be absolutely critical.
I also came to appreciate the level of complexity that exists with these government programs. They are administered by different departments, have different rules/regulations, and even commons terms have different definitions. Couple that with the fact that this was all new and is being defined while it is being delivered, even the most sophisticated companies struggled to keep up. How could smaller organizations, already capacity constrained - and now expected to do even more with less help - be expected to become technical experts?
That is why Reinsman Consulting was founded. As a leader in a Big 4 firm, I saw firsthand how larger companies were at an advantage to have access to this deep technical knowledge and thought leadership. As a result, I decided to take that expertise and start a firm that could provide the same level of tax technical know-how to small and medium sized businesses - with the goal of keeping as much of the benefit as possible in the hands of the business. This philosophy is reflected in our approach to delivery, our fee structure, and our overall commitment to excellence.
We look forward to the opportunity to serve your business.
